To Trade or not to Trade? That is the fantasy football question
Are you in the fantasy football dumps, because your team sucks? Are you looking to retool your team? To trade or not to trade? That is the fantasy football question for owners who are looking to build a championship or save their season. Don’t think this is easy; it’s more of an art of negotiation. At the end of the day, you have to trust your numbers and the awful bye weeks.
I think it’s always great to make trades improve your team unless you’re in first place. My recommendation is to sell high on your players coming off strong weeks and buy low on emerging players. If you can take a loss and get a good player in return, make the deal. For example: If you’re 6-2, does 6-3 hurt your playoff chances? If not, do it.
If you’re in win mode now, then do what you need to do. At this point, you can’t afford to lose. Keep trading until you win out if you have too. However, you have to be careful of collusion with some fantasy owners in your league. These guys are not your fantasy football friends and may have colluded to get some money. Hopefully, you have a good commissioner to oversee the league transactions carefully.
